Narrated videos

agh can turn a narration and images from your Library into a video: a pitch, a trailer, a feature tour or a tutorial. Each line of the narration gets a picture, a screenshot or a title card, with its own motion and transition. agh puts each picture on screen while its line is spoken and delivers the MP4 for review like any other file. Narrated videos come with the Studio and Enterprise plans.

What you need

The script, the narration and the screenshots come through requests like any other asset. A coding agent can ask for all three and fill in the scenes with the plan_video MCP tool. Rendering (render_video) is for admins and developers.

Make › Video

Make in the sidebar holds what agh assembles itself rather than stores. Its Video page lists the video requests agh can make: Ready to build, with how many scenes are set, Rendering, and Failed, with the reason and a button straight to the scene to fix. Delivered videos leave the page and wait in Review.

New video lists the accepted narrations agh narrated (uploaded audio has no line times, so it isn't listed). Pick one, check the asset id and where the file lands (under marketing/ by default), and choose 16:9 or 9:16. Create and build scenes makes an approved video request, which shows in Open requests too, and opens its builder. A video request made another way gets a ✦ Make it in agh button in Open requests; anyone can still claim it and upload a video made elsewhere.

Build the scenes

The builder is a page under Make › Video. It lists every line of the narration with the time it's spoken. For each line:

Pick an image shows the Library's images as large tiles; the one you click shows larger beside them, with its id and brief. Every change is saved as you make it, so you can go back to the list and return.

Effects

Each line has an ✦ Effects control under its words. Default means it follows the video's own setting, which sits beside the 16:9 and 9:16 switch and starts at None · Crossfade. Open a line's control to give it its own:

MotionWhat the picture does
NoneStays still.
Zoom inMoves slowly closer, by 8%.
Zoom outStarts 8% closer and moves back.
PanMoves slowly from left to right.
Into next sceneWhat happens at the change
CutThe next picture appears at once.
CrossfadeThe pictures blend over half a second, centred on the change.

Use video default puts a line back on the video's setting. The last line has no transition. Motion is smooth to the sub-pixel, so text in screenshots doesn't shake.

Render

When every line has a picture, Render video starts agh's video worker. A picture changes halfway through the pause before its line, and the last stays a moment after the narration ends. A picture of another shape than the video sits whole in the middle, over a blurred, darkened copy of itself.

It takes about a minute for each minute of video, and you can leave the page. Videos are up to 5 minutes long. The MP4 (H.264, 30 fps, 1920×1080 or 1080×1920, with the narration as AAC) is delivered to the request, made by agh from the narration and the images. Its provenance is ai-assisted when the narration or any image was made with AI, as an ElevenLabs narration is.

In review and the Library, a video agh made carries a Made in agh mark, apart from its provenance. In review, the scenes are listed under the player. Click one to play from there, or choose Change scenes to open the builder again. Rendering again spends no narration credits.

If the video can't be made, Make › Video says why, such as an image that can't be read, with a button back to the scene.

Plans

Videos are made on agh's servers, so they're part of the Studio and Enterprise plans. On other plans, Make › Video keeps a Studio badge and shows what it does, and the open request links here. To upgrade, ask us.

For agents: this page as Markdown is at /docs/video.md, and the CLI prints it with agh guide video.
